I found an excellent British kids' site called Planet Science with a cartoon like story about Elijah McCoy.
I "carved" it up in order to make a slide show version. I also couldn't resist using the Cole Porter song, "At Long Last Love," to accompany it. One version wasn't long enough to give the slides enough "read" time so I used two, one by Lena Horne and the other by Sinatra
Is it an earthquake or simply a shock?
Is it the good turtle soup or merely the mock?
Is it a cocktail, this feeling of joy?
Or is what I feel the real McCoy?
Is it for all time or simply a lark?
Is it Granada I see or only Asbury Park?
Is it a fancy not worth thinking of?
Or is it at long last love?
Is it an earthquake, or simply a shock?

Or is what I feel the real McCoy?
Is it for all time or simply a lark?

Is it a fancy, not worth thinking of?
Or is it at long long long last love?
